Hi,

I followed the tutorial of the "Write your own Operating System in 1 hour"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rnA6wp ... gsTJS9MZ6M

source files can be double checked here: https://github.com/vkhristenko/test-cpp ... er/writeos

in grub.cfg, i have:
menuentry 'My Operating System' {
multiboot /boot/mykernel.bin
boot
}

upon reboot, i select "My Operating System" in the grub menu, however nothing is being printed.
i use:
Intel NUC with linux ubuntu distr

any ideas what i could be doing wrong???
thanks!

Hi,

it's now more than a year; Did you solve the problem?

I just found out the hard way, that grub-mkrescue is the hard horse to ride. See my post for details and possible solution!

Best regards,

Kevin.
